At Michaels, we believe that diversity and inclusion are crucial to building a welcoming community for our team members and customers. To support team members from all backgrounds, we have launched several Michaels Resource Groups.

These groups aim to:

  • Raise awareness and celebrate our diverse workforce
  • Promote education on different cultures and communities
  • Eliminate stereotypes
  • Foster a sense of belonging for all team members

Supporting Team Members with Disabilities

The Disability Resource Group promotes awareness and inclusion for team members with disabilities, as well as those caring for loved ones.

Celebrating Asian Cultures

The Asia Connect group creates events and activities to share information about Asian countries, people, and cultures. Their goal is to overcome prejudices and biases.

Empowering Black Team Members

The Black Organized Leaders of Diversity (BOLD) provides education to celebrate the diversity of Black cultures represented among team members.

Engaging Hispanic/Latinx Team Members

The Hispanic/Latinx Association of Creative Engaged Resources (HACER) promotes cultural pride and social understanding of Hispanic/Latinx communities.

Supporting LGBTQ+ Team Members

Michaels Pride LGBTQA+ increases awareness and provides a safe, welcoming space for LGBTQ+ team members.

Honoring Military Veterans

The SALUTE Veterans Resource Group serves as a strategic partner to support veterans at Michaels.

Recognizing Diverse Faiths

The This is Faith! group nurtures team members of all faiths by providing education and resources.

Uplifting Women

The Women Inclusion Network (WIN) offers networking and support to women at Michaels.
